• When viewing the art work is the discolouration across the centre deliberate or other staining? Important to remind oneself of the oeuvre of the artist’s work. Nicholson did stain some of his drawing deliberately

• Removal of many hinges and tacky + granular adhesive from the verso and the backing board itself

• Drawing was still rinsed to remove any soluble acidity that became accrued there.
